Found - Small waist pouch with personal items
Hi. I found a small waist pouch with cards, keys, etc belonging to Avinesh Pratap. Can you please contact me or if anyone knows this person?
If not I will hand into the police station tomorrow.
Tried going to the local JV police station but it was closed. Called the station number listed and an "event number" has been created. I was told by the person on the phone they will let me know when the station will be open for me to go drop off the item; alternatively if a car is passing by my place will pick it up from me.
If any one has other suggestions to help that would be great.
Today is Thursday and I received a call from the Police communications officer. She suggested that I try again to go down to the JV station and if it is not open to give 105 a call and they will see if there is a car passing by. Like really? Otherwise she suggested that I go into the Victoria Street station which is open 24 hours. Unfortunately I don't go into town regularly.
Today is Friday and I tried going down to the JV police station this morning........again it was closed. If I head into town tomorrow I will drop it off at the Victoria Street station.
I have handed in the waist pouch over at the Victoria Street Police Station yesterday, Sunday 17 Jan 2022.
