• Guest Speakers from: Wellington City Mission – we have two speaks from the Wellington City Mission. They will be talking about the Missions aims, its woks and its new facility (off Adelaide Road in Mt Cook) “Whakamaru” and what it does.
• General business buses, District Plan, landfill precinct matters, transport, residential developments, landfill (s), Brooklyn connections and other matters, etc.
• Light refreshments will be available.
What does The Greater Brooklyn Residents Association Inc do:
# GBRAI acts as a “community trip wire” to let people know of matters that are happening in our community that are of interest / concern to them
# GBAI makes submissions supporting / opposing various matters that have a direct / indirect effect on our wider community (District Plan, Long Term Plan, bus changes, roading changes, landfill issues etc.)
# GBRAI engages with the wider community in events and activities and actions that have positive impacts for the wider Brooklyn, Mornington, Kingson community
