St Hilda's Playgroup is back! 0-5 Yrs, Tues Feb 4th 9.00-12.00 311 THE PARADE

Clive from Island Bay

Good news for parents! We will restart our regular Tuesday morning playgroup starting on February 4th at 9.00 am. This is for pre-school children from 0 to 5yrs, with special emphasis on the 0-2 year olds.
We operate as a drop-in playgroup so you can come at whatever time suits your child. A great chance to meet other parents and caregivers over a coffee and some delicious nibbles. Depending on numbers we could have a music session around 10.30. We ask for a Koha to cover the refreshments, and hall operating expenses.
Note: our next SPACE course for new parents and their babies starts the following day 5th February.
Playgroup and SPACE meet in the hall at St Hilda's church, 311 the Parade

Poll: Are you still heading to your local for your caffeine fix, or has the $$ changed your habits? ☕

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Wellington’s identity is built on its cafe culture, but with costs climbing, that culture is under pressure. We’ve seen the headlines about recent closures, and it’s a tough pill to swallow along with a $6+ coffee.

We all want our favourite spots to stay open, but we also have to balance our own budgets ⚖️

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?

Keen to read more about "coffee math"? The Post has you covered.
