World Vision Fundraiser Movie Night

Michael & Jane from Island Bay

'Rocket Man' ๐ŸŽฅ- tomorrow Wednesday 5th June 5.40pm at the Penthouse!

My daughter, with others from her Charities Committee at their Wellington East High School, is organising a movie night as a fundraiser for the World Vision 40 Hour Famine, which is an annual event where students and individuals from all around the world give up something they love for 40 hours to fundraise ๐Ÿ’ฒand raise awareness for the struggling children in South Sudan. The 40 Hour Famine is this weekend from Friday evening until Sunday midday.

This fundraiser will be screening the newly released, 'Rocket Man', the moving story of Elton Johnโ€™s life so far.
Tickets are $20 and include a lolly bag๐Ÿฌ๐Ÿซ and a chance to win spot prizes. We will also be selling raffle tickets and baking ๐Ÿช๐Ÿงon the night.

If you are interested please contact us :-) - or just turn up!

๐Ÿชฑ๐Ÿฆ When are you the most productive? ๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿฆ‰

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

The Post has been diving into our daily habits, and research suggests being an early bird or a night owl isnโ€™t just a choiceโ€”itโ€™s biology! We all have that specific time when our brains finally "click" into gear.

This raises a big question for the modern workplace. To get the best out of everyone, should employers accommodate our natural body clocks? This idea is at the heart of the four-day work week and flexible scheduling movements.

We want to hear from you:
1. When does your brain "click" into gear?
2. Would a flexible (or shortened) schedule change the way you work?

Poll: If we want to reduce speeding, what do you think actually changes driver behaviour? ๐Ÿ›ป๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿš“

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In the Post's article on speeding penalties, the question is asked whether speeding fines are truly about road safety, or are they just a way to boost revenue for the Crown?

What do you think? Should speeding motorists receive speeding fines or demerit points?
