This Ward covers a large area including the inner-city, Mt Vic, Aro Valley, Kelburn, Oriental Bay, Mt Cook, Thorndon and more - so whoever is elected will be representing a huge number of people in the city. Come along to our Meet the Candidates event this Thursday, 25 January - 6 to 7.30pm at the Garden Room, behind St Peter's Church, entrance from Ghuznee Street - hosted by ICW (Inner City Wellington Residents Association) and EKTA NZ.
All 7 candidates will be there so it's a great chance to see who they are, what they stand for, and for you to ask some gnarly questions.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
