Try the new Booklover’s Trail Audio App. It’s a free, self-guided audio tour that takes listeners on a comprehensive journey of the many bookstores, literary sites, and sites of special interest in the Wairarapa. The Booklover's Trail connects booklovers with booksellers and is a new way to enjoy travelling through the Wairarapa this summer.
The Wairarapa boasts eleven independent bookstore owners and two affiliate stores, who all tell their stories on the app of how they have come to live their bookselling dream and what makes their shops unique. FREE 10-liter emergency water bottles

I have around twenty, empty 10-liter distilled water bottles to serve as emergency water storage. I saved them for my friends, but they already have their own water supplies. Take as many as you like. Please respond to this notice if you are interested.

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.
Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.
