This Saturday is the BOOKSHOP HOP - be into win!
This Saturday (Oct 8th) is the Wairarapa Bookshop Hop; a collaborative event to celebrate New Zealand Bookshop Day. The best booksellers in Wairarapa have come together to give you the ultimate book-lovers day out.
One of the (many) great things about Wairarapa is we have 13 fantastic bookshops all within 30 minutes - or less - drive of one and other, so it's entirely possible for you to hop around all 13 bookshops in a single day! Pick up a brochure from any of the stores and collect stamps along the way with a purchase at each store. Each stamp puts you in the draw to win $650 in bookshop vouchers!
Many of the stores will also run their own promotions on the day and the map includes special food and beverage offers from Finom Kitchen in Carterton and The White Swan in Greytown.
All the details are here www.mrsblackwell.com...
Participating bookshops: Carterton - Almo's Books, Take Note; Featherston - Chicken and Frog, Featherston Ferret, For The Love of Books, Messines Bookshop, Mr Feather's Den, The Dickensian Bookshop; Greytown - Mrs Blackwell's Village Bookshop; Martinborough - The Martinborough Bookshop; Masterton - Bear Flag Books & Retro, Hedleys Books, PaperPlus.

Ten years later at age sixteen, John returned to see how much higher the nail was.
If the tree grew by five centimetres each year, how much higher would the nail be?
