Kids' Lit at Marsden
Kids' Lit woohoo! Marsden hosted the KidsLit Quiz last week welcoming a total of 44 teams from schools around Wellington. What a proud moment when one of our two teams was announced as 2nd place winners, one point behind Wellesley! Huge congratulations to Olive, Holly, Gloria and reserve Valerie (filling in for Bay). Our second team of Isabella, Tiantian, Abigail and Manon (Year 6) did a great job too, finishing in the middle of the pack. Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
