America's Cup graveyards: Unique New Zealand Challenge yacht up for grabs
NZL 20, the yacht used by New Zealand Challenge in the 1992 America’s Cup in San Diego in the United States, has sat at the Gulf Harbour Marina for more than a decade.
It’s a humble resting place compared to the museum glory afforded to NZL 32, aka Black Magic, the winning yacht of 1995.
The marina itself owns the boat, after its previous owner went into rent arrears.
But now the marina is selling NZL 20 in hopes that someone can take it on as a project and get it back on the water.
