Kaipara Harbour closed to recreational fishing

Hi neighbours, the Ministry of Primary Industries closed the Kaipara Harbour to recreational fishers last week in effort to rebuild the scallop fishery for future generations. Are you a regular fisher at the harbour? Have you noticed a decline in scallops? How has the closure effected you? Let us know in the comments.
