Please save lives by signing this petition.
Our son James (8) was stung by a wasp a few months back. He came out in itchy hives and swelling. We quickly became aware that he was having an anaphylactic reaction. Being rural waiting for an ambulance felt like an eternity. First response do not carry epi pens. We were told epi pens are costly ($120 upwards each) and need replacing every year (possibly longer if you get a long date pen). It is essential to have 2 pens. There are so many families out there that can’t afford this and would rely on an ambulance to save them. This breaks my heart and has made me ask for change. I have a petition running at the moment. I want the government to act. Please please please take a moment to sign. If everyone on neighbourly does sign we’d have enough signatures for this to be presented to The House of Representatives and then possible to parliament. Together we can save lives with one click (and I literally mean a click of a pen!)
