On Sunday the 13th November the Marton Fire Brigade are having an Open Day at their station between 11am and 3 pm. Come along and see what they do and you can talk with staff about Fire Safety and watch the demonstrations. You may be thinking about joining up. This is the best opportunity to see how its done and ask these questions

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
