Thanks to your generous donations over the past six months a total of $4,166.79 was raised through the ‘Bags for Good’ Programme. These funds will go on to support Fordell Preschool, Shine GIRL Whanganui- Converge Trust and Eastside Playcentre with their community programmes. Thank you so much for your on-going generosity, with your help the community is becoming a better place.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
