Oil dropping like a stone.
Oil dropped another $4 US overnight bringing up $$7 for the week. Oil is now almost $50 US from an Oct high of $86 US so expect another 5 cents per litre drop in petrol very soon. US share market got burnt again last night so its down 13-14% the last 3 months which is only the start. Have a good Xmas while the sun is shinning , can't complain about anything.. Get in early to beat the rush tomorrow for those boxing day specials or relax at Oreti beach or go and have a chili eating bath.

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
