Large Cheques
Two of the larger cheques received by Maniototo Health were received recently from The Lions Club for $250.000 and also from Graymont who sponsored the New Hospital build to the tune of $1 per tonne of fertilizer which totalled over $17,000, A great way for Commerce to work collaboratively with and for the benefit of the Community.

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
