This is a very tastefully, newly renovated beautiful home, fantastically laid out with very private and warm, cosy North facing living, with all day sun.
There's truly something for everyone with this fantastic home on 1780sqm. The generous interior has two living areas, with main lounge basked in all day sun (with indoor / outdoor flow onto massive deck) and open plan with dining room and beautiful rimu-finished kitchen, including large freestanding 900mm Indesit oven, with 5 gas-hob top and electric oven.
The 3 bedrooms are all double sized with the master bedroom having a gorgeous ensuite, together with a very generous walk-in robe.
The two bathrooms are stylishly fitted, with astoundingly vigorous showers.
The home is toasty warm all year round being disposed to all day sun; full insulation in the walls, roof and underfloors and a large multi-fuel Yunca fire, together with a heat transfer system. The Yunca fire also has a wet-back to assist in heating the water. The water cylinder is 280 litre capacity; installed in 2013 and solar compatible. There is also wiring for a heat pump in the lounge, but has never been necessary for us.
There is a Leisureite Spa pool, for 6 people, discreetly tucked away behind good fencing, to the West of the deck.
The back North facing garden is VERY private with an established tunnel house; veggie plots; chicken coup, together with beautiful, lush lawns and a real mixture of native bushes, tussocks, numerous fruit trees, cherry blossoms and hazelnuts. There is an additional paddock, totaling ¾ of an acre (home to pigs, calves, sheep and horses during our residence).
Stunning views across to Omaui and the estuary and Bluff from the front of the property – facing South.
There is a 3 bay barn on the Eastern boundary, great for wood storage and the ride on mower and other activities / storage. Also a shed tucked away beyond the barn.
Ample parking on the large, lengthy driveway and a double garage (one half currently a ‘man cave’ with bar top and other “manly things”!)
****OPEN HOME: Sunday 26 Feb: 4.00-5.00pm****

This one is pretty simple. You're a Neighbourly member so connecting with your community is obviously pretty important to you. So this tip is more of a challenge; this year (or this weekend!) make it your mission to meet someone new living near you.

Here's a few things you can do to get you started:
- use the Neighbours Directory to find neighbours on your street.
- introduce yourself on Neighbourly to those living in your neighbourhood. Just a few words about yourself and what brought you here.
- Give something away or sell something! A Neighbourly exchange gives you a chance to meet someone new.
- just head out the door and knock on someone else's!
______
Remember 86% of Kiwis want to get to know their neighbours better, but just don't see them around much (71%). Take the first step!
