There is also wiring for a heat pump in the lounge, but has never been necessary for us.
There is a Leisureite Spa pool, for 6 people, discreetly tucked away behind good fencing, to the West of the deck.
The back North facing garden is VERY private with an established tunnel house; veggie plots; chicken coup, together with beautiful, lush lawns and a real mixture of native bushes, tussocks, numerous fruit trees, cherry blossoms and hazelnuts. There is an additional paddock, totaling ¾ of an acre (home to pigs, calves, sheep and horses during our residence).
Stunning views across to Omaui and the estuary and Bluff from the front of the property – facing South.
There is a 3 bay barn on the Eastern boundary, great for wood storage and the ride on mower and other activities / storage. Also a shed tucked away beyond the barn.
Ample parking on the large, lengthy driveway and a double garage (one half currently a ‘man cave’ with bar top and other “manly things”!)

Performers for the Southland Buskers Festival will descend on Invercargill at the beginning of February and those working behind the scenes say they are looking forward to the eighth annual festival.
Festival organiser Jodi Wright said many of the performers jumped at the opportunity to head to Invercargill because of the beautiful Queens Park location and the chance to be at the bottom of New Zealand.
