Sunday @ St Andrew's - UkuPella
UkuPella is a 20-something strong, adult female singing chorus from Waiuku. It performs all of their repertoire a capella, i.e. with no accompanying instruments. They make the whole sound through their blend of voices in three- or four-part harmony. Established in 2015, UkuPella is led by dedicated musical director Faye Meades.Their repertoire covers a mix of slower and more upbeat songs. Come along and be dazzled by their entertaining performance! Tickets are $10, which includes afternoon tea. Tickets at the door - St Andrew's Centre, 85 Queen Street, Waiuku. (NB. Just a reminder that Friday 6th February is Waitangi Day and we will therefore be closed, as we join the rest of the country in marking the anniversary of the signing of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
