We wanted to let you know that New Zealand Police have now joined Neighbourly! We're happy to be here!
Other than occasionally posting cute pictures of our canine friends, we plan to share with you the latest happenings in your community and around the country - as we work together to create safer communities.
Please remember our Neighbourly page and private messages are not monitored by Police and are not the place to report crimes - IN AN EMERGENCY, DIAL 111.

Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
