Marlborough has long had one of the highest vaccination rates in the country. But how is your suburb doing? We have new data that tells us. For example, Renwick is at 80.2 per cent (first dose) and 52.2 per cent (second dose), while Awatere is 78.5 per cent (first dose) and 51.7 per cent (second dose). But we have it broken down as far as Witherlea East and Witherlea West!!! We'll be bringing you the breakdown in (hopefully) easy to digest bites over the next week or two. Watch this space.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
