Lockdown Hobbies
Hi Neighbours, we're running a new series called 'Lockdown Hobbies'. We thought Neighbourly would be the perfect platform to share these stories, maybe you'll be inspired by what other Marlburians (ie your neighbours) are doing to pass the time. Feel free to suggest friends or family members we should chat to as part of the 'Lockdown Hobbies' series. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
