The Stroke Foundation offered free blood pressure checks in Unichem and Life pharmacies and at PAK'nSAVE in Blenheim last Saturday, testing around 90 Marlburians.
Picton resident Lynne Iggulden said she was glad to have it checked, after discovering it was slightly on the high side. Did you get yours tested? Are you glad that you did?

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
