Picton’s Smart and Connected Group is holding a community workshop – and they want to hear from you. What do you think the important future projects for the town are?
The group is made up of passionate volunteers with a collaborative approach to addressing Picton’s opportunities and challenges. Come along to the meeting at the Picton Library at 6.45 pm on Tuesday 6 November.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
