A lot of the planning and preparation that we do at CDEM Group level is about these more common emergencies as well as ‘big events’ like earthquakes, that occur less often.
We can’t prevent storms, but there are things we can do to reduce their impact. Do trees need to be trimmed? Are gutters clear of leaves and other debris? What would we do if those powerlines came down across the driveway? Do you know your neighbours?
