Book Launch
My book Liquid Gold will be launched at the Waipukurau Library on Thursday the 26th of May at 12 pm. All welcome to come along and have a gander.
The Synopsis
Liquid Gold
Australia is in crisis, water has vanished everywhere except the eastern states with the advent of global warming. The population from Victoria, South Australia, Western Australia, and The Northern Territory have migrated east with millions of Aussies on the move.
The political climate changes to a dictatorship as it comes to grip with the overpopulation of the east coast.
Across the Tasman, Australia looks with envy at New Zealand with its abundance of water. A plan is devised to use the might of the Australian forces to take the water.
To Invade, would New Zealand capitulate or would they fight? It has been two hundred and fifty years since an invasion of NZ.
The outcome will be unsure, but the winner will have the biggest prize, Liquid Gold.

If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
