NZIFF 2021 on now in Hawke's Bay
Hey film fans – Whānau Mārama: New Zealand International Film Festival (NZIFF) is on now in Hawke’s Bay with 40 feature films from 16 countries screening at Napier’s MTG Century Theatre and Event Cinemas, Havelock North.
The programme is jam-packed with award-winning films from around the globe and a fantastic collection of New Zealand films. Explore films that will open new windows on inner worlds, films to inspire passionate debate, and films which thrill, challenge and move you to laugh and cry. On until Sunday 5 December.
Poll: Do you think banning gang patches is reasonable?
With the government cracking down on gangs, it is now illegal for gang members to display their insignia in public places whether through clothing or their property.
This means arrests can be made if these patches are worn in places like restaurants, shops, on public transport or ferries, and on airplanes. Arrests were made recently at a funeral.
