A bit of Medieval Madness, Sun 27th Jan!
A great way to round off the holidays! This Sunday 27th January, 10am to 3pm, is the day for all members of the family to dig out their glorious garb and head off for a bit of “Medieval Madness” at Kiwi North in Whangarei. Or if your garb is in the wash just head along anyway.
Real jousting, archery, combat displays, ‘fight a knight’ with the Whangarei Medieval Club, celtic band Clan Celtica, the only Kiwi House in Northland, Whangarei Museum, pony, train and tractor rides, costume parade with prizes, food and fun.
Free parking, enter Gate 2, Adults $10, all children FREE.

Warrant to arrest: Steven Te Maru Walters
Police are working to locate Steven Te Maru Walters, who has a warrant for his arrest and is wanted by Police.
Walters, 40, is wanted by Police in relation to breaching his release conditions and is known to frequent the Whangārei area. It’s believed he is actively avoiding Police.
