Desexing, microchipping and registering cats in Waimakariri
Kitty Kingdom Cat Rescue in Rangiora hope to present a petition to Waimakariri District Council requesting a bylaw, which would make it mandatory for domestic cats to be desexed, microchipped and registered on the New Zealand Companion Animal Register. A bylaw would reduce the cat population, enforce responsible cat ownership, protect our wildlife and reduce cases of animal cruelty in our district.
