Paul and Lesley Askin hold their next family-friendly monthly service on Sunday, 7 August, at the Ashley Community Church from 4.30 pm. Dress warmly and bring a finger food contribution for shared tea afterwards. Masks are encouraged. Remember to go before you come as there are no toilet facilities

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
