Developing food resilience in our community - SURVEY

Krysten from Rangiora

Hi, I'm writing on behalf of Food Secure North Canterbury (FSNC).

FSNC is a collaborative district-wide project focused on developing food resilience in our community by bringing together people, knowledge, and resources, to feed and empower North Canterbury.

We have created a survey to learn how we can best support food resilience in North Canterbury. The goal is to get a broad mix of respondents, so please take a moment to fill it in (takes approx 5 mins).

🍫 SURVEY LINK: forms.gle... 🍫

(Survey completion also gives you a chance to win a large Chocoholics Prize Pack, kindly supplied by Satisfy Food Rescue).

Ngā mihi nui / Thank you very much,

Krysten

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙

One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
