Nursery move
Just a quick note to advise on nursery developments since last post. We've moved to the property next door. We're now located at 1033 Tram Rd (no signage - very discrete), down a shared driveway - we've yet to open our own entrance, so please be aware that my neighbours have shown me great leniency until we sort that issue out. Setting up a nursery on a new site is taking some time - but we're getting there. We're still pumping out plants for our retail clients - but we've also expanded in to contract growing natives for our rural clients - and we've made a bit of a name for ourselves in the process. Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
So we want to hear what you think:
Should the government ask these industries to contribute?
-
59.8% Yes, supporting people is important!
-
24.4% No, individuals should take responsibility
-
15.8% ... It is complicated
