Kia ora, If you'd like to work on pronunciation, greetings, and learn wonderful te reo, in a positive, enjoyable learning environment, come along and join us.
A new class beginning Wednesday 20th January, once a week, 3.30pm - 4.30pm in the Gables Arcade. Attendance by koha. If you drop in a little before 3.30 you can grab a take away coffee from Reality Bites coffee shop before we get started. Ka kite/See you there, Desray
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.

Musicians Wanted

‘Rangiora Bells’ is seeking musicians to join the handbell choir. We are a friendly group of handbell ringers who enjoy making music and entertaining at community groups.
If you would like to come and have a go at ringing handbells, please come along to one of our practice sessions. No commitment necessary if you decide that this is not for you.
An ability to read basic music notation preferred.
Practice days – Thursdays 1pm – 2.30pm
