THOMAS AND FRIENDS AT THE KAIAPOI LIBRARY
From Monday through to Thursday 4 pm, THOMAS AND FRIENDS will be at the Kaiapoi library for children to operate. Only 50 cents per drive. We will also have diorama kits to buy for children to make up.
This is another community activity by the NORTH CANTERBURY MODEL RAILWAY CLUB Inc.
Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
