QSM recipient Philip Redmond seeks spot on the Waimakariri District Council
Philip Redmond has announced he is seeking election as a councillor in the Kaiapoi Woodend ward of the Waimakariri District Council (WDC).
Redmond has extensive experience in local government and is a former Kaiapoi Borough councillor and member of the Kaiapoi-Tuahiwi Community Board.
He was a lawyer in private practice based in Kaiapoi for 36 years and a notary public. A company director, he is also a member of the Institute of Directors.
