Friends of Kaitawa Reserve

Mike from Paraparaumu

The Friends of Kaitawa Reserve
Invite you to join us for Morning Tea at Kaitawa Reserve on February 12th, 10-11am
(or if wet, on Feb 26th 10-11am)

Do you enjoy being out in the bush and hearing the native birds singing?

Do you have an interest in ecology/ conservation?

Do you have time on a Thursday morning, weather permitting, to help look after the native bush at the Reserve, including clearing invasive weeds and planting eco-sourced plants?

If so, join us for morning tea: 10 to 11am, Feb 12 at the Reserve (or Feb 26 if wet). Meet the volunteer team and hear how you can help care for the Reserve (morning tea provided).
Directions: head over the railway line at the traffic lights on the intersection of old State Highway 1 and Kapiti Road, and follow the road towards Ruapehu St, then turn into Kaitawa Cres. The entry to Kaitawa Reserve is at the curve of the Crescent. Please park on the street.

Cheers
Mike

ACCOMMODATION REQUIRED

Gary from Waikanae

Our grandson (20) recently moved to Kapiti from Taranaki and is looking for accommodation. Anything considered.
He describes himself as clean and tidy, friendly but a bit reserved and quiet.
I would add trustworthy and family orientated.

Custom made sheds

Garth from Waikanae Handyman

A customer requested a garden shed tall enough to store bicycles vertically, strong and large enough for storage and a ride on mower and an attached woodshed. This is what we built.
Custom made, solid and competitively priced against off the shelf varieties.
