Can you give Eli a loving new home?

Natalie from Raumati Beach

Hi again, neighbours. We are still looking for a home for the gorgeous Eli. If you or someone you know can adopt Eli, he will repay you with much affection for years to come.

He is a gentle 13-year-old cat ready for a new forever home. Sadly, Eli's home circumstances are about to change, and he needs a kind new human to love and care for him.

Eli’s a sweet, gentle boy who enjoys being cozy indoors but also loves to be outside when the weather is nice. He’d be a wonderful companion, especially for someone living alone. He would be best suited to a child- and pet-free home (just Eli!).

He’s in good health for his age, and we’re hoping to find his new home soon. Call me if you'd like to meet this special fellow and maybe have him as your new forever bestie!

Poll: Are Kiwis allergic to “exuberance”? 🥝

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

In The Post’s opinion piece on the developments set to open across Aotearoa in 2026, John Coop suggests that, as a nation, we’re “allergic to exuberance.”

We want to know: Are we really allergic to showing our excitement?

Is it time to lean into a more optimistic view of the place we call home? As big projects take shape and new opportunities emerge, perhaps it’s worth asking whether a little more confidence (and enthusiasm!) could do us some good.
