SNOWPLANET Wellington would be good idea for people who want to do indoor snowsports but don't want to go to the mountains because of the risks associated with outdoor snowsports or SNOWPLANET Auckland because that is too far from Wellington to do indoor snowsports!
PLEASE BUILD ANOTHER SNOWPLANET IN WELLINGTON SOON!

Brewtown Buzzed

Michael from Trentham

Went to Brewtown's huge, solid marquee in Upper Hutt to see in the New year and it was an amazing event. Seven hours of great music belted out by three pro bands and good choices of craft beer and scrummy food. It raged til 1am and had attracted a jovial crowd approaching the 1800 max.

Terrific venue. Leaves Wellington waterfront for dead.

Possible lost pet or livestock black Swedish duck

Leah from Naenae

We just had a different type of duck show up here, when I looked and found the breed, I learned it's a domestic breed either kept as a pet or for meat and eggs so figured I'd post about it just in case someone had their duck go missing, it certainly isn't acting like a wild duck

"Flo the Bunny has settled in really well with us. She bonded pretty quickly with our other bunny, Jupiter, and they are now good bunny-buddies. While Flo weighs about 50 per cent more than Jupiter, she seems to have agreed that Jupiter is in charge of the bunny zone and so all is pretty amiable! Jupiter does give in and groom Flo from time to time but it's pretty clear that he's the boss! Our bunny-loving kid is thrilled with Flo and Brendon the vet has also given her the big tick! We're thrilled to have her in our whānau."
