I may be able to bring some Northland grown bananas in a week or so. I am just trying to find out if there is anybody interested in buying some so I know how much to bring back. Upper Hutt: Wider Community Connectivity
Does anyone happen to have a copy of: 'Upper Hutt: The History' by J.A. Kelleher (see attached) sitting on a shelf, which they no longer need.
I would love to gift a copy to a local young man who has embraced our local history.

Anyone know how I can contact Brian?
Our last contact was during (and just following) the 50th UH City Celebrations in 2016.
Would dearly love to 'pick his brains' relating to some UH history.
Please PM me if you are able to supply a link for me.

Our crew got stuck in straight away, planting a total of 810 plants along the western end of Petone Beach.
These plants help to protect the dunes from storm surge damage and rising sea levels, reduce the amount of sand blown onto properties along the beachfront, and restore the native biodiversity.
After planting, they are protected with netting so the pesky rabbits don’t get a hold of them – giving them a chance to grow.
