HAKA HEAVEN AT TMP

Michael from Trentham

So in Auckland last Sunday evening, the Guiness world record for a mass haka was achieved with just a small crowd of around 6500 Aucklanders.

I know Wellington could easily do better.

Just get the Upper Hutt City Council to spearhead a mass haka at the massive and well groomed Trentham Memorial Park on a sunny afternoon and we will nail it, hopefully doubling the yet ratified world record.

The event would not only be a world record haka attempt but an occasion to showcase other attractions and allow for the presence of mobile food outlets.

The haka the All Blacks and Black Ferns perform are famous and very well regarded world wide. World tv such as CNN featured the record breaking haka on their news programmes.

Poll: Should all neighbours have to contribute to improvements?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

An Auckland court has ruled a woman doesn’t have to contribute towards the cost of fixing a driveway she shares with 10 neighbours.

When thinking about fences, driveways or tree felling, for example, do you think all neighbours should have to pay if the improvements directly benefit them?
