On 14 November 2020, I cut off 40cm of my hair and sent it off to be made into wigs for people with cancer-related baldness and alopecia. I’m shaving the rest of my hair off to further support people affected by cancer. I want to help find more effective treatments to save lives and make sure people with cancer get the support they need to get through. Poll: Do you think NZ should ban social media for youth?
The Australian Prime Minister has expressed plans to ban social media use for children.
This would make it illegal for under 16-year-olds to have accounts on platforms including TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and X.
Social media platforms would be tasked with ensuring children have no access (under-age children and their parents wouldn’t be penalised for breaching the age limit)
