Choral concert by the Hutt Valley Singers
Hi everybody, although I have put this also in events, I like to reach more people via this public post. Your local community choir is presenting a wonderful uplifting concert of spirituals and gospel time music like Oh Happy Day..., I believe I can Fly..., Joyful, Joyful..., and many more. The concert is in Expressions, our wonderful local theatre on Sunday 21 May at 2.30pm. See attached poster, come and join us!

As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
