Weatherman raises $40,000 for Upper Hutt weather station
Amateur weatherman Daniel Talbot has raised $40,000 for a weather station which he says will show a better meteorological picture of Upper Hutt.
Locals have long complained forecasting services haven't done their city‘s weather justice, either by under-selling the forecast or wrapping it up with neighbours Wellington or Lower Hutt.
