Poll: Do you go to car boot sales?
Forget Facebook marketplace, traders at a fledgling car boot sale in one of Hamilton’s affluent suburbs are dodging “tyre kickers” and “scammers” and going old-school.
While some were trying to clean up their over-crowded garages at the Harrowfield Club’s second car boot sale of the year on Sunday, others were testing the market to turn hobbies into businesses.
Do you go to car boot sales? Tell us your reasons in the comments (adding NFP if you don't want your words used in print).

What's your favourite tomato recipe?
Kia ora neighbours. We know your tomato plants are still growing, but we're looking ahead to the harvest already! If you've got a family recipe for tomatoes, we'd love to see it and maybe publish it in our magazine to share with our readers. Send your recipe to mailbox@nzgardener.co.nz, and if we use it in the mag, you will receive a free copy of our February 2025 issue.
Moe mai rā, Nicholas.

Change of Date for Local Garage Sale - Now on 30th November 10am - 1pm
I apologise to everyone who may have taken time to go to the community centre in Kelson looking for our local garage sale.
I got the date wrong.
I hope that you can still join us on the 30th November 2024 from 10am to 1pm at Kelson Community Centre for a morning of bargains and a chat. (Chats are optional :-)
Again, I am really sorry for the mix up. Have a lovely weekend.
