Friday Feathered Friend

Reporter Community News

A stunning picture by Simon Woolf.

"When you are photographing in Karori, there are some unique occupational hazards! New phone and I'm shooting a time-lapse of Tui in flight. I look out the window, and my new phone is being investigated, tugged and being put through the ruggedness test by this young Kaka!
Kaka are so intelligent, and much more gentle than their South Island cousins, the Kea. It's always more investigation than sheer vandalism and mischief! It's such a joy and privilege to have them around."

Do you need a school shirt hem done, or any skirt or trousers, etc?
Let me know. It doesn't have to cost an arm and your firstborn 😉
