Now that we are in lockdown the SPCA is not rehousing cats and dogs.

Peepo - "A couple weeks ago we adopted Benjamin Button, now called Peepo. He has been a delight and a half, to say the least, and has grown so big in such a small amount of time! Slowly, he has adjusted to his new home and is now a superb older brother to his little sister, Namnam. The staff at the SPCA were super helpful throughout the entire adoption process, even giving us tips on how to introduce our new kittens. Suffice to say they are now best buddies."
Lock-down can be a little boring so to keep amused I am asking you to post an interesting or favourite picture.
Mine is the Baring Head lighthouse near Wellington.
It is a rugged and beautiful spot, and the light was just right for this picture.

I enjoy my daily walks so would love a family that would be keen to go out, explore with me and show me all the wonderful things out there. I have lots of love to give and like to be with my people. I LOVE food but this love and nose can sometimes get me into trouble. As I want to keep all the cuddles and tummy rubs for myself I am looking for a home as an only dog. Don't be fooled by my size, I can be cheeky and have jumped fences before, so am needing a home that has high fencing. I could live with older kids that are confident around big boisterous ladies like myself. I'm a real sweet heart waiting for a family to pick me. Vaccination centres open again today from 8am.

Teddy is a therapy dog, which means he helps people who are feeling sad or stressed by keeping them company and providing plenty of cuddles.
He visits the Upper Hutt school three mornings a week, but Kea Kids News reporter Mark Hayward, 9, says he gives more than just hugs. He also helps with maths games, reading and is even the playground monitor.
