Giant Charity BookFest
Heretaunga Rotary’s Bookfest will not be held on 2nd and 3 rd May 2020.
We have re-booked the Expressions Whirinaki sale venue with the prospect of holding Bookfest on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th October 2020. However, if that does not eventuate we will carry Bookfest forward to May 2021.

Poll: Should the government levy industries that contribute to financial hardship?
As reported in the Post, there’s a $30 million funding gap in financial mentoring. This has led to services closing and mentors stepping in unpaid just to keep helping people in need 🪙💰🪙
One proposed solution? Small levies on industries that profit from financial hardship — like banks, casinos, and similar companies.
