GratitudeToYourBody

Kavitha from Elderslea

I saw a man in the supermarket thank a worker who was just restocking shelves.
Not casually he stopped, looked him in the eye, and said,
"Thanks for doing what you do."
The worker smiled like someone who rarely hears it.
It was such a small moment.
But something about it felt big.It made me smile too.And then it made me think.
We talk about gratitude a lot.
We journal it, speak it, practice it with others.
Because real gratitude starts from within.
But in all that…
How often do we thank the one thing that carries us through it all?
"Our body."
The one that pushes through stress.
Stays up late. Wakes up early.
Digests whatever we throw at it.
And most of the time,we barely notice...Until it starts to struggle.
That moment reminded me to stop ignoring mine.
So I made one small change.I swapped my second coffee for Chi-Coffy
a caffeine-free, gut-friendly chicory brew.
It may seem small. But it felt like a quiet thank you.
A way of saying:
"I’ve got you too."

The Riddler from The Neighbourly Riddler
