The Mayor alerted me last night that the results of the Park Street Recycling Station trial will be discussed at tonight's (4 September) council committee meeting. The report discusses the issues, the costings and makes recommendations about how recycling should be funded in future. Very interesting report which describes how the process works and the issues behind the lack of collections at the weekend. Anyone can attend tonight and there is time for the public to make submissions. The meeting starts at 4.30pm. Please come along. I will be making a submission on the topic.
