Employ staff ? Please read

Sharlene from Te Marua

Hi everyone, I absolutely love my current job helping people get where they want and deserve to be in life. I would like this post to go to as many employers as possible. I cannot say who I work for as I may get into trouble but I know the power of social media and I believe it can do great things! So if there are any employers/business owners out there willing to give someone that has a form of mental illness 5 hours a week work- Just 5 hours :-) this is enough for both the person and the employer to feel a sense of worth despite little differences. It might just be cleaning, it might be customer service or it might be some data entry whatever you can offer it will do amazing things!! If you can give someone 2 or even better 5 hours of work - PM me !

Poll: Would you participate in local initiatives aimed at stopping plastic from reaching our oceans?

The Team from Neighbourly.co.nz

Volunteers will be scouring the foreshore, riverbanks, and islands for rubbish on Saturday the 13th as part of the Clean Up the Hutt event.

This initiative helps stop plastic from reaching our oceans and makes our waterways cleaner and safer for everyone.

We want to know: Should this be rolled out across all coastal cities in Aotearoa? And more importantly… would you get involved? 💚

Want the details? The Post has you covered.

Some Choice News!

Kia pai from Sharing the Good Stuff

Many New Zealand gardens aren’t seeing as many monarch butterflies fluttering around their swan plants and flower beds these days — the hungry Asian paper wasp has been taking its toll.

Thanks to people like Alan Baldick, who’s made it his mission to protect the monarch, his neighbours still get to enjoy these beautiful butterflies in their own backyards.

Thinking about planting something to invite more butterflies, bees, and birds into your garden?

Thanks for your mahi, Alan! We hope this brings a smile!
