On behalf of the team here at Miss K's Animal Care Ltd, we hope you are keeping dry on this wintery day.
We are passionate about animals big n small & have afew ourselves, Our staff currently have: Crazy playful kittens (adopted from the SPCA), Chickens, Cattle, Sheep, Dogs, Horses, Goats, Rabbits & Guinea pigs. Some of us have also been known to cuddle cattle & even teach them afew tricks.
We thoroughly enjoy working outdoors with a variety of pets & livestock. We're comfortable & experienced with a wide variety of animals and can adapt our services to meet your pets needs! We've had pets longer than we can remember and as we are a registered business (we can dedicate more to your pets). Our daily timetable is pretty flexible, We often have emergency spaces available at short notice for the unexpected (only available via direct text/phone contact). At Miss K's Animal Care Ltd. We take care of your pets in your home when you are unable to. Whatever the reason we are here to help, by providing quality professional pet sitting & animal feeding services within Upper Hutt.

DOC is rolling out a new tool to help figure out what to tackle first when it comes to protecting our threatened species and the things putting them at risk.
Why does this matter? As Nikki Macdonald from The Post points out, we’re a country with around 4,400 threatened species. With limited time and funding, conservation has always meant making tough calls about what gets attention first.
For the first time, DOC has put real numbers around what it would take to do everything needed to properly safeguard our unique natural environment. The new BioInvest tool shows the scale of the challenge: 310,177 actions across 28,007 sites.
Now that we can see the full picture, it brings the big question into focus: how much do we, as Kiwis, truly value protecting nature — and what are we prepared to invest to make it happen?
