An update on Ada
Hi, you may remember me because I’ve been at the Haven (Upper Hutt Animal Rescue Society) for quite a while. I used to be one of the Colony Cats as I was rather shy, but for a while now I’ve been living in my own apartment in the Cattery. I’m learning some new social skills, so that one day I may be able to go out to live in a real home with gentle people who understand my special character.
A few weeks ago I had a sore mouth but after my dental treatment I’m feeling heaps better. (If you wish you can still help the humans pay for that at givealittle.co.nz...) I’m even getting quite cheeky about asking to be let out of my apartment....and even more cheeky about avoiding going back in!
Luckily most people here have a bit of a soft spot for me, so no one minds.
It would be great to meet you if you would like to drop in sometime to say “hello” at 4 King Charles Drive, Kingsley Heights, Upper Hutt.

We want to know: How are you handling the "coffee math" in 2026? Are you still heading to your local for a chat and a caffeine fix, or has the cost of living changed your habits?
